Our Founder

Zach Millar

Director

Zach is the Director of Tekwave Pty, He is a Level 2 ASP/Electrician and Smart Metering Specialist. With nearly two decades in the electrical industry across Canada and Australia, he brings a diverse skill set shaped by hands-on experience in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. After earning his Red Seal journeyman licence in Canada in 2007, he relocated to Australia in 2010, where he expanded into security systems, specialising in access control programming and installation on numerous government projects throughout South Australia. In 2014, he began the trade recognition process to secure his A Grade Electrical Contractor licence, paving the way for advanced work in home automation systems. Since 2017, he has focused on smart metering, leading Tekwave Pty Ltd in partnership with a Tier 1 field service provider as well as metering providers to support NSW’s Power of Choice rollout and currently the new Legacy Meter Replacement Plan. His team delivers defect rectification, board upgrades, hazard mitigation, and full-service consulting for strata and building managers navigating the meter upgrade process.
